Jana Sivananthan

Chief Risk Officer

Jana joined 7IM as the company's first Chief Risk Officer in February 2022, possessing more than 20 years’ worth of experience, having previously held a number of senior roles at leading financial services firms.

He joined the company from Brooks Macdonald, where he was Head of Group Risk for four years. During his time there, he was responsible for all areas of risk management, including credit risk, operational risk and ICAAP. Prior to that, Jana held various senior roles at Smith & Williamson, Julius Baer Int. and Merrill Lynch.

As Chief Risk Officer, Jana is responsible for the company’s risk management functions, ensuring our strategic objectives align with our risk appetite and that we are proportionally managing the risk of harm to our clients, our people and our firm.
