Managing Director, Platform and Intermediary Partnerships

Russell was appointed Managing Director of 7IM’s Platform business in December 2023, responsible for the platform’s continued strategic growth and development, including sales, client relationships and service. Russell is passionate about financial advice and the vital role platforms play in supporting Intermediary businesses.

Russell has worked in Financial Services for over 25 years. In that time, he held senior management roles at Scottish Widows, M&G and Zurich before joining Cofunds in 2001, where he helped build the largest platform in the UK. Prior to joining 7IM, Russell spent a decade at Fidelity International as Head of UK Intermediary Sales. Russell is a graduate of Loughborough University with a first-class degree in Politics.
